Let me introduce myself. I’m Coach Rebecca … passionate pursuer of truth, committed activator of courage, and awe-inspired experiencer of beauty wherever I can witness it in the world. Mom to four happy, successful, growth-minded humans, wife of 20+ years to my best friend and partner in laughter, and coach to a tribe of strong-minded, goal focused, intelligent clients, I started The Fittest Me in 2017 to help people who live outside of the fitness world. If someone didn’t feel like they belonged in a traditional gym, I was going build a community where they would belong.

Over the past 40 years, I’ve experienced the ups and downs of building consistency around exercise and eating habits. My journey has included the varied and rich terrain of both the perceived negative … family dysfunction, peer body shaming, depression, social anxiety, the death of my parents in my early 20s … and the positive, with navigating college and early adult living, getting married to the love of my life, having children through the highs and lows of the early 2000s and 2010s, and moving our family to GA for diversity and sunshine.

Consistency for Results is a program that’s been in the making since the summer of 1984 between fifth and sixth grades, when I did Jane Fonda workouts, dieted on peaches and cottage cheese, and lived a free life of an 11-year old with a banana bike and a community pool. That’s when I became self-conscious of my body, aware of the turning heads of boys, and learned about my ability to affect my shape. The interest of my fitness story could have ended then … with years of success to follow. But what fun would that be? Instead I’ve endured depression from lack of exercise, a conflicted relationship with food, and a deep self-consciousness that no diet or exercise program could fix.

You see, like you, I am not a machine, but instead a human being with human experiences. My journey has been a process of ups and down, ins and outs, learning and forgetting and learning again. It is my goal with this program to teach you all that I’ve learned … including what solidified my commitment to exercising 6x/week (and helped me maintain it), what helped me develop a healthy relationship with food (after years of binge eating in secret), and why I believe that leading with strength in our decisions and engaging our courage are essential to loving the person in the mirror.

This is the program where I guide you on a yearlong ADVENTURE to the center of you. That’s right … this time YOU get to be the HERO of your own story. Instead of having to measure up to some impossible expectations or compare yourself to others, this is where you get to SHINE. Why? Because when it comes to your health, there’s only one path … the one you create while striving towards a more empowered future version of yourself … and it starts from where you stand today. All you need to do is take the first step, and I’ll guide you the rest of the way.

 

 

Here’s what you’ll LEARN and how you’ll GROW.

  • improve your MOBILITY and range of motion while reducing pain and discomfort

  • build foundational STRENGTH that’s fundamental to loving the person in the mirror

  • increase your COMMITMENT around eating habits that support your health

  • expand your UNDERSTANDING of how food impacts your energy, mood, and mental health

In Consistency for Results, as an engaged participant, you’ll get 12 months of:

  • a weekly video educating you on key concepts and stated objectives for the week

  • a space to log your daily consistency for self-care with movement

  • support, encouragement, feedback, and tracking of your progress

What we ask from you to welcome you into the program:

  • a willingness to have an open mind towards what it means to be healthy

  • a commitment to set aside 30 minutes 6x/week for self-care where 15 minutes include intentional movement

  • a commitment to log your daily consistency and complete a brief weekly self-assessment
